For Rachel’s last few days in Saskatchewan before heading back to Montreal for her 1 year contract we decided to head up to Waskesiu before the long weekend. Our first night up we just walked by the lake and took a bunch of pictures with the ice on the water. Here are a couple of my favorites:

On Friday we went to the driving range which was apparently too much for our feeble bodies. I think my muscles hate me now. After the driving range we headed out to do a quick hike. We decided on the “Boundary Bog” which is only 2km. It was definitely boggy…

On Saturday we had a quick visit with Rachel’s sister, her boyfriend Chris and their new dog Kale. Rachel also made time to show us her karate skills:

Sunday was Rachel’s last day in Saskatoon for a few months. She will be working in Montreal for the next year while I work in Saskatoon. We plan on flying back and forth every couple months. If you want to go and visit Rachel and see Montreal you should plan a trip before she gets a roommate in September.

The other day I was cleaning the RAV4 I found some jewelry in the passenger door that I thought belonged to Rachel. I kept it in the car so when Rachel got in the next time she would find it. Well it turns out it’s not Rachel’s as when she found it she called me a big cheater. We figured the best way to find the true owner was to just post a picture of it on my blog.
