The birthday post
Another birthday out of the way. I turned the big 27. My usual apathetic view on birthdays was broken this year by Rachel’s devilish plot of announcing it was my birthday on google talk and facebook. Well played. She did make me a birthday cake this year (trifle). It was pretty awesome, though I think this is the first time I’ve had such a small portion of a trifle when it was for me.
My last couple weeks have been taken up by playing/practicing frisbee, playing basketball (I tell Rach it’s street ball so I sound more menacing), watching movies (Mr. Brooks is the only one that sticks out as any good), watching Avatar: The Last Airbender (a pretty awesome cartoon on nickelodeon), and my weekly Gears of War Sunday nights. Pretty much this is what my entire summer will be. Rach is going up to Waskesiu June 18 so after that I will be making frequent trips up there (car pooling anyone?)
That’s it for my update. I’m going to go check out John from Cincinnati now (a new show on HBO by the same guy who made Deadwood).
