Transport Wife, cool-down time 5 weeks
Rach flew to Victoria on Saturday for 5 weeks. She is doing a rotation in a hospital out there for her masters. When she gets back she is in Saskatoon for another week before going to Waskesiu for 8 weeks so if you want to book something with us there won’t be many days.
After Rach left to Victoria I started preparing myself for a exhibition game of North Battleford vs Wilkie basketball by listening to the Space Jam soundtrack. Devin and I were going to play against Hemant and his friend Todd in a cut-throat game of basketball. I tried to talk as much smack before hand in attempt to demoralize the other team. In the end my intense training of listening to “Hit ‘Em High” was not enough for NB to pull out a victory. The games ended when I ripped flesh off my hand and knee. I liked to blame Hemant for fouling me but I’m pretty sure I just tripped on my own skills. Wilkie won’t stand a chance when we bring in our power bball star Brent. Anything has to be better than Dev and my 1% shot rate or when Dev checked me on the court.
Following our failure at basketball I went out to Spiderman 3 which was OK. Hemant has a pretty decent review up on his movie review site. Hemant likes pretty much all movies (even when they don’t show boobs) so you might have to take his reviews lightly. My short review is that if you liked the other 2 you probably won’t mind this one. I hope they don’t make anymore but it broke so many frickin’ records this weekend I’m sure they will keep churning out new ones to milk us.
My Sunday consisted of cleaning the basement since Rach is gone and it has a chance of staying clean while she is gone. I should be able to walk to the bathroom with my eyes closed now. Dev and I also went over to Dustin’s place to try cooking our famous pizza on his egg BBQ (I don’t know what the hell it’s called but it looks like a giant egg). My Sunday evening was taken up with some 3 on 3 Gears of War which I’ve been trying to make a weekly occurrence. Hopefully next week we can get a group of 8 for the first time. If you have a 360 and gears and haven’t received an invite from me yet then send me a message and I’ll send one your way.

I was playing such smothering defense that Jeff tripped over his own feet and hit the ground hard. As he rolled on the ground in pain, I stood over him and yelled, “Not in my house!”

Your link to my blog in this post points to the Space Jam page on IMDB. Who’s the editor for this site? You should fire him. My lawyers will be in touch.
