The Shelf Corner

From day to day I have to fight many Super Villains. Sure you might not have heard of any of them but rest assured they do exist. The picture on the left is my latest conquest. It has been hard work but quite regularly I have been beating down this particular beast with my skull. This rapscallion likes to attack when I’m working on a computer directly below it. It always throws the first punch. It may look like I’m losing after a fight and I’m rolling on the ground cursing but I think it comes out worse than me. I’m sure this is not the last time we will fight, I just hope that next time I don’t end up with another hole in my skull.

Storm fun

Rach and I went out last night during the storm and took some pictures by the river. We just sat inside the RAV4 with a window rolled down and took 100′s of pictures. We ended up with like 20 pictures or so that had lightning on them. I’m trying to convince Rachel I need a new camera even though I just bought the Canon S2 a few months ago. Any help in convincing her is welcome.

Dead Man’s Chest

Tried to goto the new Pirates movie last night but they were sold out when we got to the theater. Tonight I made sure we had tickets and bought them online at fandango.com. The movie was pretty good but it’s sort of like the 2nd/3rd Matrix movies, you only get to see the first half of the movie now. It’s worth seeing anyways. There is a very very short scene after the credits which we stuck around for, I don’t think you’re missing anything if you skip out before the credits end. Oh, and it was , by a lot.

The wife is blogging

My current wife has started a blog for everyone to read and enjoy. You can subscribe to her RSS feed if you know what an RSS feed is. She just started her blog today and she already has more comments than me. I think I might turn my comment spam filter off so people will start posting about poker and porn.
